What was your motivation for joining the 90-Day Challenge?
My motivation for joining the 90-Day Challenge was to lose the weight I had gained and to have more confidence in myself. I had found I had no motivation to dress up or look pretty because I didn’t like what I looked like. I was feeling sad and terrible about my weight and was just tired of feeling tired. I had quit drinking but was still feeling really bad health wise. I had aches in my feet and they hurt all the time. I had to get special inserts in my shoes to help with the pain. I had no energy to do much of anything. I would yell upstairs for my kids instead of walking to them. I never wanted to take them anywhere or go anywhere. I had no confidence in myself or in my marriage.
What was your 90-Day goal?
My goal was to lose 14 kilos and become more active with my children.
How did your Health Pack help you to achieve your goal?
The Breakfast Pack helped me with energy while losing weight. Every morning I knew I was starting out my day strong and healthy so I could be successful for the rest of the day.
The pain in my feet is gone! I have become more mentally and emotionally stable. I have so much more energy and now I run up the stairs to talk to my kids and find ways to get out and be active with them! I have so much more confidence in myself and my marriage. I recently was able to wear my wedding ring for the first time in over 6 years and I now fit in the clothes I use to wear when I met my husband!
What is one tip you would give to someone new to the Challenge?
Find someone who can help encourage you. Even though I really wanted to lose weight for myself, it helped so much that my mom continually encouraged me to complete the Challenge. I will be forever grateful for her!
