Mumpreneur Spotlight: Elizabeth Perea

With more and more women running successful businesses, the rise of the mumpreneur is real!

According to the ASBFEO, data shows a steady upwards trend in the proportion of female business owners/managers over the last 20 years, with women now representing 35.4% of business owner/managers.1 Today, women make up around 76% of network marketers worldwide.2

What makes mums such great entrepreneurs? Our guess is it has to do something with years of practising patience, persistence, multi-tasking and knowing how to make the most of every spare minute! This successful mumpreneur gets real about how NeoLife makes it possible:

1. How does NeoLife make it possible to succeed as an entrepreneur and a mum?
NeoLife makes it possible to succeed as an entrepreneur and a mum because I am able to spend time with my family but also, develop my professional skills during pockets of time throughout my day.

2. What would you say to someone who says that they don’t have time to work the business/share NeoLife?
I would say to always be ready to share your story. We take walks around the neighbourhood and see our neighbours, talk to people in the line at the supermarket and reach out to friends and family (and sometimes strangers with similar interests) on social media. These are everyday things that everyone does and when you’re passionate and believe in what you are doing, it becomes second nature to share how NeoLife has had a positive impact in our lives.

3. How has NeoLife positively impacted your life?
NeoLife has given me the nutrition I need to stay healthy and active with my 17-month- old son. It gives me the energy and vitality I need every day in order to handle life and whatever comes my way. In addition to the nutrition, NeoLife has provided our family with a second income to help cover everyday expenses.

4. What has helped you get where you are as a NeoLife Mumpreneur and what advice would you have for others who want to set off in a similar path?
My advice to other mumpreneurs is to go for your dreams and don’t give up. There will be ups and downs in life, there will be days that you want to quit, but always remember your WHY. Have a tangible goal that you can accomplish. Be patient with yourself and if something doesn’t work, find another way or develop another skill.

5. What is your secret to productivity?
My secret is finding pockets of time doing focused activity (especially when the baby is sleeping!). Also, my husband also helps me a lot when I am tending to our son. Teamwork makes the dream work!

6. What do you see for the future?
I see a bright future where I can be a full-time mumpreneur at home with God willingly more children and continue to bless others with NeoLife.
